The Batter and The Bunny

“…What the fuck is that? What…?”

The Batter stared down at a small fuzzy brown form sat in his path, it had two long ears laid back against its neck and a small white cotton-ball like tail and a pinkish nose that seemed to be going 100 miles per hour.

“…What, the fuck…is that” Batter mumbles to himself, he had never seen anything like it before and his curiosity began to peek, so he took a small step closer clutching his baseball bat to his chest.

The fuzzy creature jerked at the others movement and quickly jumped up and turned to face him, its coal like eyes wide.

“…Um, hi?”

No response from the ‘thing’.

The purifier stares down at the creature whilst it stares back.

After what seemed like hours but only minutes The Batter had decided enough was enough, he gently lifts his bat up and ever so carefully presses the end into the fuzzy creature’s side.

The ‘thing’ let out a loud ear piercing scream as it is poked causing The Batter to scream and cry out; he drops his bat to the concrete and watched as the animal known as a “bunny” scurries away
